Käytiin Tallinnan voittajanäyttelyssä toteamassa että HUH hellettä, mukana Noppa, Blondi (M. Loistava Léan), Axu (GP's Aidan, Blondin velipuoli, Nastan pentu ensimmäisestä pentueesta) ja Nasta-mamman emä Merri (Kanelikorvan Merry Mermaid). Juniorvoittajatitteliä ei valitettavasti saatu, mutta Noppa oli junnuluokan ykkönen ja sai EH:n (Jun EH, Juk1), Blondi oli kakkonen (Jun EH, Juk 2). Axu Avo EH, Avk 1. Merri-mummo sai tittelirivistöönsä veteraanivoittajatittelin, saaden Erin eli Erinomainen.
Saksalainen Horst Kliebenstain oli tiukalla päällä ja rankaksi hampaista, saksalaiseen tyyliin.
Noppaa kehuttiin koosta, väristä, ja päästä. Blondia taas koosta, väristä, ylä- ja alalinjasta sekä kulmauksista.

Heppapuolella tapahtuu seuraavaa. Issikkatamma Dimma odottaapi varsaa jonka pitäisi syntyä elokuussa. Jännityksellä odotamme varsomishetkeä. Dimman varsan isä on komea Viljar, joka tulee olemaan isänä myös Hildurin varsalle. Hildur on käynyt treffeillä Viljarin luona viikolla 23.
Dimma ja Hildur ovat tulleet meille Alfur-tallilta jossa Viljar asuu.

Sitten ikävämpää asiaa. The Grand Old Lady Melba pääsi kunnioitettavaan 12-vuoden ikään ja nukkuin pois kaksi viikkoa sitten perjantaina. Melba vietti viimeiset vuotensa ystäväni luona Vihdissä huskylaumaa paimentaen. Aika oli lähteä... nuku hyvin.

We went to Tallin's winner's show in very warm weather. Along came Noppa, Blodi (M. Loistava Léan), Axu (GP's Aidan, Blondi's half brother, Nasta's puppie from her fist litter) and Nasta's mother Merri. Unfortunately we didn't get the junior winner title, but Noppa was first in the junior class and got and Very Good judgement. Blondi came in second and Axu got Very Good in the open class. Grandma-Merri got the veteran title to add to her impressive title list, and got an Excellent review.
The German judge Horst Kliebenstain was on a very though mood and punished attendants for missing teeth, as germans so often do.
Noppa got credits for her size, colour and head. Blondi again for size, colour, top and under lines and angulation.

On the horse-side the following has happened: The Icelandic horse Dimma is carrying a foal, which should be born in August. We're anticipating the birth with excitement.
Dimma's foal's father is the handsome Viljar, which also will be the father of Hildur's foal. Hildur was over on a "date" with Viljar during week 23. Both Dimma and Hildur came to us from the Alfur-stables where also Viljar lives.
The horse matters will soon be moved to their own pages, as soon as the pages are ready to be released.

The over to something more sinister. The grand old lady Melba reached the impressive age of 12 and passed away two weeks back on Friday. Melba spent her last years at a friends place in Vihti, herding a pack of huskies. It was time to leave….sleep well.
