Ihanan Marttamme maanpäällinen vaellus päättyi tänään vajaan kahden vuoden iässä.
Martta oli hetken ontunut jalkaansa, josta olikin pamahtanut ristiside. Kun leikkauksen aika tuli, löysi eläinlääkäri myös rikkoa nivelestä. Samalla reissulla Martalla todettiin ärhäkkä kohtutulehdus. Nivelten huonon ennusteen takia, jouduin tekemään nopean, mutta sitäkin vaikeamman päätöksen. Tulevaisuus olisi ollut puolikuntoinen, loppuelämänsä kipulääkkeillä sinnittelevä koira, se ei olisi ollut Martan arvoista elämää. Ikävä on suunnaton...

Our lovely Martta's days of wandering on the earth are over after nearly two years.
Martta had a limp in her leg for a while and it turned out that her cruciate ligament was broken. When it was time for the operation, the veterinarian also found rheumatoid arthritis. At the same time Martta also was found to have a severe uterus infection. Since the veterinarian gave a very bad prediction for the arthritis, I had to make a very quick, but all the harder decision.
